Sunny Sunday

It is a beautiful day and all is well. I'm looking forward to having a productive day, since I feel so well and can walk with ease. Yesterday was a little scary for me, as I woke up with a headache. It was not the same as before, but none the less a headache. Each day brings new experiences and different feelings. It wasn't until I talked with my husband and my daughter that I felt better. They both had headaches also. The weather has been bizzare and the barmetric pressure has been changing drastically. With the HOT weather last week, everything is in full bloom. The pollen count is also through the roof. So a couple of asprin and some food and I was once again in the pink..

This weekend has brought me in touch with more people looking for infomation on the procedure and what the out come has been like for me. I am happy to help anyone that is hurting and wants help.

It is wonderful to see the news coverage in Canada and the actions that are taking place up there. If it weren't for the internet we would all be in the dark. It is now time to reach out again to the US media and see what can be done to put CCSVI in the headlines down here. If anyone reading this has any ideas or contacts, I would love to talk to them about my experience and how being liberated has changed me in just the past couple of weeks.

  1. Janet, That is wonderful. I am sure you get better & better.

I have had this monster for over 20 years and I am wondering how did you start checking things with your neuro? I mean I would like to escape my straight-jacket! It seems the MD's around here are frozen in time:-(

    Thanx, Dean

  2. Hi Dean,
Where are you located. I started searching for a Interventional Radiologist around Philadelphia area, and found Dr. Bonn who was very interested in the procedure and will be doing a study of all his results. If I can do anything to help you out, please contact me.

  3. Janet, thanx for the reply.
I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I thought a vascular surgeon was the only DR until I found your article. An Interventional Radiologist would be fine by me. I have had MANY MRI's over the years, but never heard of the sub-specialty until recently. The radiologist that has been performing MRI's on me is Dr Sherman, I do not think is an I. R.
Janet, I will call his practice to find out if he is an I. R. Then I could ask him if he could/\would be willing to try it.

    I do hope you are IMPROVING daily, L 8 R, Dean J.

  4. Hi Dean,
Yes I am improving everyday a little more.
OK, now an Interventional Radiologist is one step past a regular radiologist, additional 4 years of education and intership. They are very close to a vascular surgeon, except they only use a cathetor instead of a scalpel. You can look at the SIR website (sirweb.com)for a list of the IR's in your state. This is a really good site, and be sure to watch the "People are Talking" video.
Hope you are successful in your quest.

  7. Janet, I spoke to an IR, but he said I would need a referral from neuro before he could proceed with any tests or procedures. I would pay cash for any tests/procedures but getting someone to write the order seems to be the road block.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
